Roam if you want to...roam around the world...

I feel that for the past 15 years,we've not been really traveling, it has been more like roaming. "Roaming with my homies!" I realize this to a an unnecessary cliche; but I don't care! In the past month or so, we've had some pretty great and rewarding experiences. Jace and I were able to got to DC with Jim for a weekend conference. We stayed at the Hilton at "Crystal" City. And yes, those of you who know the Moore Fam, realize we would quote "What's Up Doc?"
"I'm trying to reach my friends. They're here from the New Hebertes. They said they'd be staying in room 1717 of the Hotel Crystal." "ZIS IS THE BRISTOL MADAME, NOT THE CRYSTAL." Well, one of us must be in the wrong hotel."
Oh how we love to amuse US! :) Another thing we so loved was seeing our dear friends, the Wetzels. We catch up any time we can. We spent a day swimming at the pool, eating at Chipotle, and Jace went and stayed a night at their house. The had a blast, and so did we. Another great thing was going to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington Cemetery. The ceremony was beautiful, digified, and befitting one who has died in the service ouf our great nation. I have a deeper sense of pride after just finishing American Heritage for my degree. We also have Justin who is soon to graduate from Basic Training at Fort Benning. We've heard snippets through hearing about our letters and other's. He has suffered many things, but has not lost his faith. It has been amazing to hear his stories, and be able to congratulate him! It feels good to know that even though what he is doing is extremely taxing, he is doing it! Last week while Rachel was gone to Seattle to visit her parents, their house was broken into. No one let her know. She came back to the door being broken and a notification from the police. She just rocks! She had their place emptied, the police reports entered, including the witnesses who were threatened, and moved out in 2 days so she could head up to Opera North. Thanks for all of those who helped her, and for those who helped her learn her music! Our next adventure was July 4th. We actually got to speak to Justin on the telephone. It was wonderful to hear his voice again. He really is a sweet soul. He was trying to get through a vast amount of information so that he could talk to Rachel again. She is able to come and attend his graduation. Jim and Jace are going as well! Briana just moved too, and Daniel is moving in about a week. If Jennifer moves too, all 4 of them will have moved this Summer...eek...
